If you are seeking to register as an NHS patient, Cardiff and Vale Local Health Board now have a Centralised Waiting List. Applications to join this list can be made by email, through a website, or by telephone – contact details can be found below. Please note that as of December 2023, there were approximately 23,500 patients already on the list, & it grows by net average of 1,057 per month, so there is likely to be a considerable delay before you are allocated to a practice, which could be anywhere in Cardiff & Vale.

This is also the telephone number to use if you have an urgent dental problem and would like NHS care.
We also offer fixed-price private emergency appointments here at the practice, in which case please give us a call or contact us here

Your responsibilities:
We require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling an appointment.  Missing appointments wastes time and resources which are needed for other patients. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or miss an appointment on more than two occasions, then we may no longer be able to complete or offer NHS treatment in the future.  We will of course take any special circumstances into account.  We may still be able to offer private dental care but will require a non-refundable deposit.
We reserve the right to charge a fee for missed private/Denplan appointments.

Patients who are violent or abusive to practice personnel, to other patients or anyone else on the practice premises will be refused treatment and reported to the appropriate authorities.

If you are claiming exemption from NHS charges, please bring proof with you.

If you have not filled in a medical history form in the past 6 months, please arrive early enough to allow time to complete a new one prior to your appointment.
